Phil Harvey
CEO

Phil Harvey - CEO

Phil’s career began in the UK Special Forces, aged 19 (the youngest in history). He retired from the military and entered the blockchain space in 2014. His expertise in operational planning and execution skills, is underpinned by his experience in elite military operational planning. Phil has developed end-to-end cryptocurrency operational procedures and policies based on his intricate working knowledge of cryptocurrency mining facilities. He has devised innovative new approaches and techniques in mining, often in response to technical challenges or driven by the constant aim of improving efficiencies. He is able to deliver turnkey crypto mining operations with relative ease. 

Phil took an unheard-of new entity to a significant player within the crypto mining space within North America. In only a few years he grew the company from start-up to over 70,000 servers and over 200Mw, making it one of the larger cryptocurrency miners at that time. With this began Phil’s passion to design, build and operate mining farms.   Thus SABRE56 was born.

Antoine Farris

Antoine Farris - Head of Corporate Development

A seasoned professional with over 15 years’ experience in mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and recapitalization transactions, Antoine has held senior roles at several of the most renowned names in the investment banking industry.

Based in New York, he joined S56 from Golden Vision Capital, a global single family office where he was Managing Director focusing on venture stage and growth equity investments in healthcare, consumer and technology.

Previously, Mr. Farris held senior investment banking roles at Lazard and Rothschild, specializing in strategic advisory (M&A) in the Healthcare and Consumer & Retail sectors. He began his career in the Technology, Media and Telecom Group (TMT) at Bear, Stearns & Co., and over the course of his career has been involved in the execution of over $20 billion of transactions across different industries.

Antoine holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago, and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan.

Christopher Sherwood

Christopher Sherwood - Head of Business Operations

A result focused leader, Chris is experienced in business operations and technical excellence. Holding qualifications in business, risk management, electrotechnology, and security, he has over sixteen years in international engineering, construction, and consultancy.

Chris is a key member of the leadership team responsible for operations management, and strategic planning and implementation. He manages workflow and process development, QMS and design delivery KPIs. He is tasked with expanding and maintaining a strong and stable workforce, including the S56 in-house design team which serves all of our international operations.

Alex Dunai
Head of Operations

Alex Dunai - Head of Operations

Alex is an expert data-comms engineer who has specialized in large-scale cryptocurrency mining data centres. His huge amount of real-world, hands-on engineering experience in mining at scale and very large mining farms, is held by few in the industry. He intrinsically understands the nuances, interdependencies, and intricacies of running tens of thousands of high-performance mining rigs in harmony and over prolonged life-cycles and in adverse weather conditions. 

Alex ensures ultra-streamlined mining operations and optimal hashing up time, with as low as reasonably possible hashing down-time. He maximizes all aspects of hashing and data interface with the blockchain to ensure absolutely maximized returns, balancing optimized hashing performance with healthcare and longevity of equipment. S56 believe in a ‘prevention, not cure’ approach to hardware maintenance.

Roger Ryan

Roger Ryan - Commercial Director

Roger is a highly focused and results driven Commercial Director with strong business acumen and a proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a fast-paced environment. He possesses 15+ years of experience within large dynamic organizations working in multiple locations internationally. 

Roger brings with him diverse market experience having worked in oil & gas, construction, mining and renewables. He is an action-oriented decision maker with excellent judgment, multitasking and troubleshooting skills who is quality focused and possesses a passion for continuous improvement. A Project Management Professional (PMP) with a Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying and a Master’s Degree in Leadership & Management.

Kristian King

Kristian King - Head of Projects

Kristian is a growth-focused operations specialist with a strong project delivery background. Kristian brings multi-sector expertise, having operated in the technology, security, oil & gas, and construction industries. Leveraging his proven background in the technology and crypto-mining sphere, he has a well-established portfolio of recognised achievements in project delivery on multimillion dollar developments. 

Kristian ensures excellence through developing new strategies, implementing innovative processes and change management programs to support ongoing projects. He is a relationship-builder, developing a strong team ethic as well as enhancing stakeholder and client engagement. Kristian possesses outstanding personal drive and determination and delivers to the highest professional standards. 

Kristian’s capability, expertise and experience are underpinned by solid academic credentials (MSc, Loughborough University, UK), industry recognised telecommunications and cyber security qualifications, executive coaching qualifications, specialist training, plus 11 years serving with British Military Intelligence.
